Time for School
In chatting to friends, many have expressed and asked about where to source hair accessories for school. One mum in particular expressed that her young daughter, simply defaulted to plain white hair accessories as she struggled to find anything suitable to go with the school uniform.
Now, we are only at the beginning of our school uniform journey, however, I’m determined that “doing hair” doesn’t have to become dull and boring. My go-to places for hair accessories on the whole are usually just at the supermarket/grocery store. As far as school accessories go, they tick the box in that you can get the colour to match your child’s uniform. Unfortunately, most of the time they’ve stuck to the basics with a mixed pack of ties, clips, and potentially a hair band/slide.
With being on many social media platforms, I came across this Mum who makes beautiful, hand-made hair clips. You can buy them in pairs or individually. We opted for a pack of 4 individual clips. As Little Miss Hair Helper will be in her uniform most of the time, we chose to stick to blues from a vast choice of designs (it also helped us narrow our choices down!). You can find Ditsy-Dot on Facebook and Instagram to place your orders. Why not give her a like or follow to fill your feed with pretty things too?

We’ve found some online, (my next “go-to” when I can’t find what I’m looking for) that can make school hair styling a little bit more fun!

We also recommend setting aside one ribbon on your Hair Helper just for school accessories, this way they’re even easier to access in the morning. Not got your Hair Helper yet? Why not pop over to our shop to get organised for the new school year? You can get 10% off when you use “Backtoschoolhair” at checkout!

The variety of hair clips are amazing and i am looking forward to buy them for my girl, thanks for providing the link.
Very pretty selection of hair accessories. I will definitely recommend these to my friends and clients.
I love how many different hair clips are there on the market. When I was little we only had the classic black ones. Now girls can choose one for each outfit they wear.
